About the Author
Rashmi Suryawanshi is a multidisciplinary scholar working at the intersection of modern
biotechnology and Bhartiya knowledge traditions. With over fifteen years of academic and
research experience across Bharat, Europe, and the United States, she integrates scientific
training with civilizational inquiry. She holds a Master’s degree in Plant Biotechnology with
specialization in Functional Genomics from Wageningen University, Netherlands, and received
research training at Pennsylvania State University, USA. She is currently pursuing doctoral
research at CSIR–NEERI, Nagpur. Rashmi founded eX-Bharatology, an initiative exploring
scientific ideas in ancient texts, and leads projects like Green Ramayana and One Health in
Ancient India connecting traditional knowledge with contemporary science.
